Emma was born and raised in Little Rock. She attended Baylor University where she gained her degree in Social Work and met her husband William. Emma has a huge heart and a passion for serving children. She spent time as an intern with The Call Arkansas, a nonprofit organization that recruits and trains foster parents, and she pioneered the social worker program within Conway Public Schools.
Emma and her husband are an amazing young pair with a heart that is on fire of God. They felt called to be foster parents and since their home has been opened, they have loved 13 amazing children. Being foster parents has taught Emma three things, 1. never go out to eat during a toddler's nap time, 2. always have snacks and a spare diaper on hand, and 3. always be willing to drop what you are doing to run to a crisis. Emma and Will are expected their first biological child, Charlotte, in October 2021.
Emma joined the Little Rock Angels board after feeling greatly supported by our Love Box program. "Tangibly helping foster parents serve and love the kids in their home is one of the best ways we can warp our arms around kids in foster care."
