She attended Arkansas Baptist College and Philander Smith College where she obtained here Bachelors in Business-Organization Management. Elissie is currently enrolled in a Doctoral program at Walden University.
Family is very important to Elissie. She knows that she and her husband are their children's first role models and their biggest advocates. Quality time together keeps them closely connected.
Elissie is a hard working woman who has accomplished so much as an entrepreneur, salon owner, military veteran, and Mrs. Arkansas USA 2021 titleholder, all of which was no small feat. Elissie is a foster care alum and her grit is derived from her determination to succeed as not become a statistic. As an advocate for children and youth in foster care she is passionate about serving on the board of Little Rock Angels. "I know that I can make a difference in their lives."
